Crews responded to the crash shortly after 2:20 p.m. near the 5300 block of W Oklahoma Ave. The vehicle involved sustained noticeable damage to the passenger side, and airbags were deployed upon impact. The driver, a 28-year-old man, remained alert at the scene but reported pain in his hip and wrist following the impact.
First responders provided immediate medical evaluation and determined the man required further treatment. He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital under trauma yellow designation, signaling non-life-threatening injuries that still required urgent care.
