Davisville, FL (August 25, 2026) – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash Sunday night, August 23, on Highway 97 at Nokomis Road that resulted in minor injuries. The collision involved a Silverado pickup truck and a passenger car.
The northbound Silverado was attempting to turn left into the Marathon Station parking lot. The truck entered the path of a southbound passenger car on Highway 97. Both vehicles came to a stop in the parking lot. The driver and passenger in the sedan were taken for medical evaluation with injuries that were not considered severe. The incident remains under review.
