Tracy, CA (September 4, 2026) – Multiple people were injured Thursday morning, September 3 in a multi-vehicle collision on westbound I-580 near the State Route 132 on-ramp, close to Chrisman Road. It happened around 5:42 a.m.
Several vehicles were involved and ended up off the roadway, according to initial reports. A pickup truck overturned, and another vehicle came to rest on its side after sustaining major rear-end damage.
Lanes were closed while crews worked to clear the roadway and reopened by around 6:30 a.m. Multiple tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles.
The injuries were reported as minor. We hope for a full recovery for everyone involved.
