Moreno Valley, CA (January 13, 2026) – A 22-year-old woman, Karina Samano, was killed in a pedestrian collision early on January 12 along Iris Ave in Moreno Valley. The fatal incident occurred around 3:15 a.m., approximately 158 feet west of Via Del Lago, according to local authorities.
Preliminary reports indicate that a vehicle traveling on Iris Ave struck Samano under circumstances that remain under active investigation. Specific details about the direction of travel or the moments leading up to the impact have not yet been released. Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced Samano deceased at 3:21 a.m.
