West Sacramento, CA (August 30, 2026) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision early in the morning on Friday, August 28, on eastbound Interstate 80 near Enterprise Boulevard. The crash was first reported at approximately 1:29 a.m.
Initial reports indicated a blue Toyota Corolla and a red sedan were involved in the collision. The crash also caused a roadway sign and an arrow post to be struck. One of the vehicles was reportedly disabled before the collision. The incident temporarily blocked all eastbound lanes as California Highway Patrol officers and other emergency personnel responded.
Two tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles, with at least one vehicle reported to have sustained major damage. The roadway was later reopened. The collision was classified as a minor-injury incident, although additional details about those injured were not immediately available. This is a developing story.
