White Plains, MD (September 2, 2026) – A 32-year-old woman and her 7-month-old daughter were taken to a hospital Monday after a tractor-trailer and Honda Civic collision. The accident happened around 12:40 p.m. on Monday, August 31, near Crain Hwy and Demarr Rd.
Initial dispatch information indicated that the tractor-trailer driver reported rear-ending the Honda Civic. The woman reported neck and back pain, while her baby was inside the passenger vehicle.
Both were taken by ambulance to UM Charles Regional Medical Center. The woman’s injuries were considered non-life-threatening, and no serious injuries were reported for the child.
Emergency units assisted at the site as the vehicles were handled. The circumstances surrounding the wreck remain under investigation, with additional details still pending. The investigation continues as officials work to establish what led to the collision.
