Allentown, PA (August 19, 2026) – An 18-year-old man died on Monday afternoon, August 17, after a motorcycle and a moped collided at 25th Street and Hamilton Street. The crash happened at approximately 2:00 p.m.
Initial reports indicate that the two vehicles struck each other, causing one to hit a tree. The available information did not specify whether the motorcycle or the moped was the vehicle that struck the tree.
Several emergency medical units responded, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was performed on at least one person. The 18-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No information was released about the condition of the other rider.
