Investigators said the bike continued through the median before overturning onto its side. It eventually came to rest roughly 75 yards into the median. No additional information about the motorcyclist was released in the initial report.

Why Motorcycles Are More Vulnerable When Leaving the Roadway
Motorcycles can become difficult to control when they leave a paved surface and enter grass, gravel, or uneven ground. Unlike larger vehicles, bikes rely on two wheels for balance, which can make sudden changes in traction more challenging to manage.
When a rider loses control while traveling through a curve, several factors may influence the outcome, including speed, roadway design, tire grip, and surface conditions. If a motorcycle overturns, the rider may face a greater risk of serious harm because there is less physical protection than in passenger vehicles.
After a collision involving a motorcycle, investigators often examine roadway markings, vehicle movement, weather conditions, and physical evidence from the roadway. These details can help build a clearer picture of how the sequence of events unfolded.
