Lawton, OK (September 3, 2026) – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision involving another vehicle on Flowermound Road in Lawton on Tuesday, September 1.
According to the Lawton Police Department, the motorcycle driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
Police closed southbound Flowermound Road from Cache Road to Gore Boulevard while the Traffic Unit investigated the crash. Drivers were advised to use Northeast 45th Street or Northeast 15th Street as alternate routes.
The roadway was later reopened.
Authorities continue reviewing the cause of the collision. We hope the injured motorcyclist receives care and recovers fully.
