Casitas Springs, CA (August 19, 2026) – A motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries in a crash with a truck on southbound SR-33 at Nye Road on Tuesday evening, August 18, according to dispatch logs. The rider went down in the roadway around 6:23 p.m., blocking lanes in both directions.
The rider was taken to Ventura County Medical Center. Both directions of SR-33 were closed while crews worked.
