Lexington, KY (August 30, 2026) – A motorcyclist was injured on Friday morning, August 28, in a fiery crash involving a motorcycle and two vehicles on Tates Creek Road near Delong Road in Lexington.
According to Lexington police, the motorcycle and two other vehicles collided. After the crash, the motorcycle and one of the vehicles caught fire.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No additional injuries were reported in the available information.
Tates Creek Road was temporarily closed in both directions between Ethel Drive and Delong Road while emergency crews handled the scene. The roadway later reopened. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
