Temple, TX (July 10, 2026) – A motorcyclist died, and another person was hurt following a collision on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Logistics Way and NE HK Dodgen Loop in Temple.
Police said the crash occurred at approximately 8:02 p.m. on July 8. Preliminary findings indicate a vehicle was traveling westbound and attempting to turn left when it entered the path of an eastbound motorcycle.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The motorcyclist was also taken to a hospital, where the rider later died. A justice of the peace officially pronounced the rider deceased.
Emergency units remained at the roadway for several hours while a traffic reconstruction team documented evidence, and motorists were advised to use alternate routes during the closure. The identity of the motorcyclist has not yet been released.
