Clarke County, IA (August 7, 2026) – A 22-year-old motorcyclist was killed on Wednesday evening after his motorcycle collided with a trailer being towed on Interstate 35 in Clarke County.
The crash happened between the New Virginia exit and the exit located about five miles north of Osceola, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
The motorcyclist was identified as 22-year-old Jordan James Wilson of Des Moines. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have not released additional details about what led to the motorcycle striking the towed trailer. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
