Cleburne, TX (August 2, 2026) – A motorcyclist lost their life in a crash involving a pickup truck on Friday afternoon, July 31, at the intersection of SH 171 and County Road 1010 in Cleburne. Emergency units were dispatched to the scene at about 12:30 p.m. following reports of the collision.
Preliminary findings indicate the pickup truck was traveling west on County Road 1010 while the motorcycle was heading north on SH 171 when the vehicles collided. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver was not hurt. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
