Albuquerque, NM (July 16, 2026) – A motorcycle rider was killed after a wreck involving a truck and motorcycle early on Wednesday morning in Albuquerque’s Uptown area. The accident happened around 12:50 a.m. near Louisiana Parkway and America’s Parkway.
The motorcycle driver died at the site of the accident. A criminal complaint states that Armando Aldavaz was driving a truck when he struck the motorcycle.
The complaint also states that Aldavaz smelled of alcohol and had two open containers of liquor inside the truck. The investigation into the circumstances of the wreck is continuing, and additional details may be released later.
