Lincoln, NE (August 23, 2026) – A 33-year-old motorcyclist was killed on Friday night after two motorcycles collided at NW 1st Street and West Grand Drive in Lincoln. Police and emergency crews responded to the intersection around 7 p.m. on August 21.
Investigators said both motorcycles were traveling southbound on NW 1st Street when they collided. One rider suffered minor injuries, while the 33-year-old motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The critically injured rider later died around 11:30 p.m.
The identity of the victim was not provided in the available information. The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is investigating the crash.
