Douglasville, GA (August 18, 2026) – A motorcycle rider was severely injured on Monday, August 17, after colliding with a turning sedan on Georgia Highway 92 at Malone Road in Douglasville, according to state troopers.
The motorcycle was traveling north on Highway 92 when a sedan heading south attempted to turn left onto Malone Road, troopers said. The motorcycle struck the sedan, and the impact threw the rider from the bike.
Emergency crews flew the rider to Grady Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. The names and ages of those involved had not been released as of Tuesday.
Troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash, and it is not clear whether any charges will be filed.
