Fremont, CA (August 3, 2026) — A three-vehicle collision caused minor injuries and blocked traffic on southbound I-880 near the Mowry Avenue off-ramp on Saturday, August 1.
California Highway Patrol dispatch records show the crash was reported around 1:48 p.m. Initial entries identified a blue sedan, a gray Infiniti sedan, and a white SUV. A later update described the vehicles as a black or purple Toyota Camry, a blue Honda sedan, and a white Honda SUV.
The collision blocked the third lane and parts of the middle lanes while emergency responders worked at the scene. Officers moved the vehicles to the right shoulder, and all lanes were reported open shortly before 2 p.m.
CHP classified the incident as a minor-injury collision.
