Newnan, GA (May 28, 2026) – A four-vehicle collision with reported injuries shut down part of Lower Fayetteville Road near Cokes Chapel UMC on Thursday.
According to early reports, the pileup happened in the 4100 block of Lower Fayetteville Road. Multiple people were hurt. Vehicles involved were blocking the roadway as emergency units worked in the area.
Drivers were urged to avoid delays near the church while crews cleared the roadway and assisted those involved. No names or additional details about the people involved had been released at the time of publication. Officials are still working to determine what led to the multi-vehicle crash.
