NASHVILLE, Davidson County, TN, Sept. 29, 2026 — A motorcyclist died Saturday evening, September 26, after colliding with an SUV at the intersection of Gallatin Pike and Walton Lane in Nashville, Tennessee, according to Metro Nashville police.
Police identified the rider as a 25-year-old man of Mt. Juliet. Investigators said he was riding south on Gallatin Pike when the driver of an SUV attempted to turn west onto Walton Lane. He struck the SUV and was thrown from the motorcycle, police said.
The man was taken to Skyline Medical Center, where he later died, according to police.
The investigation remains open, and no citations have been announced. Police have not said whether either driver will face charges.
