NASHVILLE, Davidson County, Tenn., Sept. 21, 2026 — Two people were hurt late Sunday night, September 20, when a crash flipped a car on Interstate 24 West in Nashville, according to authorities.
The crash happened at about 11:15 p.m. near mile marker 36, a stretch of I-24 West between Old Hickory Boulevard and Whites Creek Pike.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said officers who responded found two drivers with injuries described as minor. One vehicle ended up in a ditch and another rolled onto its roof, based on footage from the scene.
An MNPD official told a local TV station that one driver was detained.
