Nashville, TN (January 12, 2026) – Emergency responders from Metro Nashville rushed to the scene of a major crash involving five vehicles early Monday morning in the Antioch area. The collision occurred just after 6:00 a.m. along Bell Rd near the intersection with Blue Hole Rd, prompting a significant emergency response and temporary road closure.
According to Metro police, two individuals sustained critical injuries and were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for advanced treatment. A third person was taken to TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center with non-critical injuries. First responders, including medics and fire crews, worked urgently to stabilize the victims and manage the complex crash scene.
Due to the severity of the crash and the number of vehicles involved, authorities shut down all lanes of Bell Rd around 7:00 a.m. to conduct a thorough investigation. The roadway remained closed for nearly two hours before reopening shortly after 9:00 a.m.
