Westford, MA (August 6, 2026) – A 63-year-old man from Londonderry, New Hampshire, lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 495 North in Westford early on Wednesday, August 5.
The fatal wreck was reported at approximately 12:51 a.m. When emergency units arrived, they found the driver of one of the vehicles had been ejected and had died from injuries sustained during the accident.
Traffic on I-495 North was disrupted for several hours while the roadway was cleared and examined. All lanes reopened by approximately 4:45 a.m. The identity of the other driver and any additional injuries were not released. The circumstances surrounding the collision continue to be examined as the investigation remains active.
