Norfolk, VA (January 5, 2026) – A crash involving a motorcycle and a car left one person injured early Monday morning in Norfolk. The incident occurred near the intersection of W 24th St and Hampton Blvd and was reported at approximately 3:01 a.m.
According to dispatch audio, emergency personnel from Norfolk Police and Fire were sent to the scene after reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle. One person, believed to be the motorcyclist, was found conscious and responsive as medics began providing treatment at the location.
The crash happened on January 5 and resulted in temporary road closures while first responders attended to the injured and assessed the scene. EMS units were requested, and crews worked to stabilize the situation until additional medical support arrived.
Authorities noted that one of the vehicles involved in the crash reportedly fled the scene before police could identify or detain the driver. No description of the fleeing vehicle was immediately available, and Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
