Norfolk, VA (January 24, 2026) – A traffic collision with reported injuries took place during the early morning hours of January 23 along Route 564 westbound near Terminal Blvd in Norfolk, prompting a coordinated emergency response.
Units from Engine 9, Ladder 9, and Medic 14 responded to the scene, working in conjunction with State Police and VDOT officials. Upon arrival, Engine 9 assumed command and confirmed the need to shut down both lanes of traffic at the exit ramp for safety and operational support.
