Lexington, NC (August 20, 2026) – One person was airlifted to a hospital on Thursday, August 20, after a house fire in the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Lexington.
Emergency crews responded to the residential fire, prompting the closure of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between North State Street and Fair Street.
