Carthage, TX (August 12, 2026) – One person was flown from the scene after a multi-vehicle wreck at FM 2517 and U.S. Highway 59 South on Wednesday morning, according to the Carthage Fire Department.
Details about the person’s condition and the number of vehicles involved were not immediately available. Emergency crews are working to clear the roadway, and drivers are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
