Reading, PA (June 19, 2026) – A fatal two-vehicle crash with entrapment was reported in the City of Reading on Wednesday, June 17, according to initial emergency dispatch information.
The accident occurred at 335 S 4th St and was reported as involving two vehicles, including one that overturned. Early reports indicated multiple people were injured. Dispatch information also stated that a woman remained trapped inside one of the vehicles and was gasping for air. An infant was reportedly among those involved.
One passenger was partially ejected through a sunroof during the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of those involved have not yet been released, and the extent of the other reported injuries was not immediately available. Investigators are continuing to gather information to determine the circumstances that led to the wreck.
