Beaumont, TX (July 8, 2026) – One person was killed, and another was seriously hurt after a head-on crash on Tuesday morning on Highway 105 near Tram Road west of Beaumont.
The crash happened around 4 a.m. when a westbound Toyota 4-Runner crossed into the opposite lane and struck an eastbound Chevrolet pickup, according to preliminary information. The Toyota driver, a 41-year-old man from China, TX, was pronounced dead at the site.
The Chevrolet driver, a 33-year-old man from Sour Lake, was taken to a Beaumont hospital for treatment of suspected serious injuries. The identities of those involved were not otherwise released.
