Birmingham, AL (July 16, 2026) – A 37-year-old Mill Steel Company employee died on Tuesday morning, July 14, after an industrial accident at the company’s facility on Finley Ave.
Emergency units were called to the business shortly after 8 a.m., where they found Lederiest Antwon Clark of Bessemer unresponsive. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said Clark died from blunt-force injuries and was pronounced dead at the facility. No additional circumstances surrounding what led to the workplace accident were immediately released.
The investigation into the fatal workplace accident is continuing as more information becomes available.
