Corona, CA (August 3, 2026) — One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on westbound SR-91 east of Maple Street on Saturday, August 1.
California Highway Patrol dispatch records show the collision was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. Several passenger vehicles and a motorcycle were identified in the initial response.
Emergency personnel provided CPR at the scene. Multiple travel lanes and express lanes were closed while responders assisted those involved, documented the crash, and removed damaged vehicles.
The express lanes later reopened, followed by the remaining mainline lanes at approximately 10:45 a.m. The full sequence of the collision and its cause remain under investigation.
