Palm Desert, CA (August 26, 2026) – One person died after a Toyota Tacoma rolled into another vehicle on Varner Rd near Marios. The California Highway Patrol log recorded the fatality at about 10:11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26.
The driver was found unconscious inside the Toyota Tacoma after it rolled into another vehicle. The log did not provide the identity or age of the person who died.
A tow service was requested for the Tacoma later in the morning. No additional details about the other vehicle or its occupants were provided in the initial report.
