Carson City, NV (September 1, 2026) – A motorcyclist died on Sunday, August 30, after a collision involving a motorcycle and a truck on US-50 at Drako Way.
Nevada State Police said the collision occurred around 5:34 p.m. The motorcyclist, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, also an adult male, was hurt but suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators suspect impairment may have contributed, although it has not been determined which driver may have been impaired.
Travel lanes on US-50 at Drako Way were reduced during the investigation. All lanes reopened by 4:45 a.m. Monday, August 31. The motorcyclist’s identity had not been released pending notification of next of kin. The investigation into the fatal accident remains ongoing.
