Macon, GA (September 5, 2026) – A 78-year-old woman died on Friday after a three-vehicle crash on Gray Highway near Woodlawn Drive in Macon.
Cheryl Reed of Bibb County was driving east on Gray Highway when her white Lexus struck a tan Chevrolet Silverado. A black Acura SUV was also involved. Reed was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Silverado driver was also taken to a hospital and remained in stable condition, while the Acura driver was not hurt.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
