Knowlton, NJ (June 4, 2026) – One person died, and another was hurt on Wednesday morning, June 3, after a fiery collision involving two tractor-trailers in Warren County. The accident happened around 6:55 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 at milepost 8 in Knowlton Township.
New Jersey State Police said an International tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder. A Kenworth tractor-trailer traveling east then struck the rear of the parked truck.
The Kenworth driver was identified as Karwinder Singh, 25, of South Ozone Park, New York. He was pronounced dead after the wreck. A passenger in the Kenworth, 24-year-old Mandeep Singh, also of South Ozone Park, had minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The Kenworth tractor-trailer became fully engulfed in flames after the vehicles came together. The collision remains under review as investigators continue confirming the details.
