White Pigeon Twp., MI (July 30, 2026) – One driver died, and another was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday, July 28. The crash occurred at 12:09 p.m. on U.S. Highway 12 near Lima Road.
A GMC Envoy was traveling east when it entered the westbound lane while attempting to pass two vehicles. It then struck an oncoming GMC box truck head-on, according to preliminary findings.
The box truck driver, a 64-year-old Bridgman man, lost his life at the scene. The 20-year-old White Pigeon man operating the Envoy was taken to Bronson Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation remains active as additional evidence is reviewed.
