Butler Co., PA (August 29, 2026) – One person was killed, and three others were injured on Thursday afternoon, August 27, in a head-on crash on Eau Claire Road in Venango Township.
Pennsylvania State Police responded to the two-vehicle collision at approximately 3:54 p.m. Authorities said a 17-year-old driver was traveling west when her vehicle crossed the center line and entered the opposite lane.
The police said the vehicle then collided head-on with another car. A 36-year-old passenger in the first vehicle was killed in the crash.
The 17-year-old driver was flown to an area hospital. The 50-year-old driver of the second vehicle and a 3-year-old passenger were both taken to Grove City Hospital. The collision remains under investigation.
