Marshall, MO (August 29, 2026) – A 52-year-old golf cart driver was injured Thursday after a two-vehicle accident at US 65 and Freedom Ave. The crash occurred at about 12:15 p.m. in Saline County.
According to the initial report, the golf cart was traveling north when its driver attempted to make a left-hand turn. A northbound 2001 Freightliner then struck the golf cart.
The 52-year-old Marshall man sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital by EMS. The 62-year-old Springfield man driving the Freightliner was not reported injured. Both vehicles had moderate damage and were driven from the scene.
