Bowling Green, KY (September 1, 2026) – A person was hurt after a driver struck them and fled on foot on Sunday night in Bowling Green.
The accident was reported around 9:21 p.m. near the 1200 block of Broadway Ave. Emergency units were called to the area, and the driver reportedly left the vehicle before running toward Covington Park.
A witness description provided to authorities identified the fleeing driver as a foreign person wearing a gray shirt. The person’s identity and the extent of the injuries were not released.
The driver remained at large as the investigation continued. We hope the injured person receives the care needed for a full recovery.
