Galesburg, IL (July 14, 2026) – One woman was hurt after a house fire on Tuesday morning, July 14, near the intersection of W Third St and Avenue A St in Galesburg.
The fire was reported at approximately 6:47 a.m. Emergency units arrived to find heavy flames coming from the home and learned that a person was still inside. After entering the residence, crews located a woman, removed her from the house, and provided medical care before she was taken to OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center.
No additional information about the woman’s condition was immediately released. The cause of the fire has not yet been announced as the review of the fire continues.
