Why Intersection Crashes Require Detailed Reviews
Crashes at intersections can involve many factors, including vehicle movements, traffic signs, visibility, and driver decisions. Investigators examine the position of vehicles and available evidence to determine how the collision happened.
Medical evaluations can provide more information about the extent of injuries after a person leaves the crash area. Some injuries may not be fully known immediately after a collision.
Drivers can reduce risks at intersections by approaching carefully, checking for cross traffic, and following posted traffic controls. Staying alert can help prevent many common roadway crashes.
