Honolulu, HI (July 22, 2026) – A 37-year-old man was reported seriously injured following a crash on Tuesday, July 21, on the H-1 Freeway near the Kaonohi Street overpass.
The incident began around 10:20 a.m. when all eastbound lanes were closed while emergency units evaluated the vehicles and cleared the roadway.
The man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, according to Honolulu EMS. The involved vehicles were later moved to the shoulder, allowing traffic to resume after about 40 minutes.
