Albany, MN (June 20, 2026) – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 238 and the westbound Interstate 94 ramp in Albany.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:27 p.m. on June 18 in Stearns County. According to authorities, a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling west on Interstate 94 and exited into Albany. The driver then attempted to re-enter I-94.
At the same time, a 2017 Ford Focus was traveling south on Highway 238 and preparing to turn onto eastbound I-94. The two vehicles collided at the intersection.
The Ford driver, Paula Kaye Keck, 59, of Albany, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Melrose Hospital for treatment. The Chevrolet driver, Dianne Rose Quandt, 77, of Morris, was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and airbags deployed in both vehicles.
The cause of the accident remains under review. We are thinking of the injured woman and wish her a smooth recovery.
