Motorcycle Hit-and-Run Crashes Bring Added Recovery Challenges
Motorcyclists have little protection when they are hit by a car. Even when injuries do not include broken bones, bruising, or road rash, internal trauma may cause lasting pain and limit daily movement.
Hit-and-run crashes can also make the recovery process more difficult. Injured riders may be left without immediate answers about the driver, vehicle, or exact circumstances of the collision.
Detectives usually rely on witness accounts, traffic cameras, vehicle descriptions, debris, and damage patterns after a hit-and-run motorcycle accident. These details help investigators identify the vehicle involved and understand how the crash happened.
