Windom Twp., MN (August 12, 2026) – A 21-year-old Kasson man was seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon, August 11, in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 56 at 205th Street in Mower County. The crash occurred at approximately 4:36 p.m.
A 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2023 Peterbilt semi were both traveling north on Highway 56 when they collided.
The Tahoe driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Air medical assistance was involved in the response. The 50-year-old semi driver was not hurt. The collision is still under review.
