Why Overnight Freeway Rollovers Can Be Especially Dangerous
Overnight roadway rollovers often create added risks because visibility is reduced and traffic patterns may change late at night. Drivers can have less time to react when a vehicle suddenly leaves its lane or loses control on a freeway. Speed, driver fatigue, and limited lighting are frequently reviewed after this type of roadway emergency.
SUVs also have a higher center of gravity than many passenger cars, which can increase the chance of tipping during sharp turns or sudden steering movements. Medical teams may watch closely for head, neck, or chest trauma after a rollover because injuries are not always visible right away. Road conditions, tire quality, and weather can also provide useful details when reviewing how a freeway rollover unfolded.
