The rider reportedly ended up in the center divider after the collision.
Authorities said the crash was reported shortly before 3:10 p.m. near the Etiwanda Avenue exit.
Responding units located a motorcycle in the center divider along with a white Chevrolet Malibu, the log indicates. A tow truck was requested for the motorcycle, and Freeway Service Patrol closed out its own response to the scene a short time later.
