Vallejo, CA (June 20, 2026) – An overturned SUV and a semi-truck were involved in a traffic accident on Friday morning on eastbound Interstate 80 near the midspan section of the bridge in Vallejo.
Dispatch records indicate the collision was reported at approximately 10:14 a.m. on June 19. Early reports described a red Honda HR-V resting on its driver’s side with occupants still inside. The vehicle was involved in a crash with a semi-truck, and another vehicle was also reported to be involved.
The wreck blocked multiple eastbound lanes, causing significant traffic delays. By approximately 10:18 a.m., one person was seen exiting a vehicle while lanes one and two remained obstructed. Additional updates noted that lanes three and four were also affected as crews worked to manage traffic and clear the roadway.
Tow trucks were requested for the damaged vehicles, including the overturned Honda and a white pickup truck with moderate rear-end damage. By 11:20 a.m., all lanes had reopened to traffic.
