Palmdale, CA (January 7, 2026) – A serious single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning resulted in major injuries to two individuals on the northbound State Route 14 on-ramp from North 10th St West, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at approximately 5:34 a.m. on January 6. Preliminary reports indicate the vehicle left the freeway and went over the side before landing on 10th St West, coming to rest beneath SR-14. The impact blocked both the northbound lanes of 10th St West and the freeway entrance lane.
Emergency crews responded quickly, and two individuals were transported to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment of major injuries. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.
CHP officers remained on site conducting debris checks and assessing roadway conditions on the mainline portion of the on-ramp. The circumstances leading to the crash are still under investigation, and no arrests have been announced.
