PASCO, Franklin County, Wash., Sept. 24, 2026 — A two-vehicle crash blocked traffic near Road 68 and Burden Boulevard on Tuesday evening, September 22, according to the Pasco Police Department. Both vehicles involved reportedly had airbags deploy on impact.
The collision was reported around 5:31 p.m. near the intersection. Emergency crews from the Pasco Police Department and Pasco Fire Department responded to the scene.
First responders initially received word that an occupant was trapped inside one of the vehicles, and crews requested extrication equipment as a precaution. Updated reports from the scene said a female occupant was helped out through the passenger-side door before the equipment was needed, the fire department indicated.
Police and fire personnel evaluated those involved at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no additional details on injuries or citations have been released as of Tuesday.
